Google Chrome OS for netbooks

First AMD Turion 64 netbookFinally we got the right lightweight OS for our netbooks. I hope it will run much faster than Windows XP now on my ASUS EeePC 901. Google will be launching the Chrome OS for netbooks in second half of 2010. With OS will be focused on web apps. So you can move all your work to the web with your netbook. Will se how it will compete with Microsoft Windows XP and future Windows 7 products.

ASUS EeePC 1000 (1001) on Computex 2008

Clinton and ObamaSome people has received a Computex invitation from ASUS to the official global launch of the new Eee PC 901 and 1000 series. This related to the MSI Wind soon launching with their 10" mini notebook. Asus would present their own 10-inch UMPC notebook.

Most wanted mobile PC this year - ASUS Eee PC

Ultraportable, flash storage, easy to use and cheap. Specs of the Asus Eee PC are as follows: Size is OK for taking with you everywhere, screen is the 7-inch 800 x 480-pixel LCD. Also there are features like an SD card slot, 2 USB ports, Ethernet, mic and headphone jack. Equipped with software Firefox web browser, instant messaging softwares and Skype.

But most interesting fact is that it get widely popular. Some sources say that in places such as Taiwan, US and Hong Kong, Asus Eee PC is sold out as soon as it appears on the market. Also people say that It is the number one gadget on most wish list of Americans this Christmas. "In the two weeks since it´s launch in the US, the Eee PC has already sold ten thousand sets," said Director of ASUS Global Brand Center, Sunny Han. Sales projection for this year is 350,000 Asus Eee PC units is likely to be met. In the next year 3 to 5 million Eee PCs will be sold.
