Google Chrome OS for netbooks

First AMD Turion 64 netbookFinally we got the right lightweight OS for our netbooks. I hope it will run much faster than Windows XP now on my ASUS EeePC 901. Google will be launching the Chrome OS for netbooks in second half of 2010. With OS will be focused on web apps. So you can move all your work to the web with your netbook. Will se how it will compete with Microsoft Windows XP and future Windows 7 products.

I am very interested in seeing how Google OS fares, Chrome is a great browser but still is short of FireFox in features and functionality. I imagine it will be a long time before Google OS can be used for gaming.

Hmm Google OS. I have mixed feeling on this one, I enjoyed Chrome quite a lot when it first came out, however I'm not entirely sure of liking it better than Firefox. It's very lacking if you place them side to side, however Chrome did have very good features. I just can't help but wonder what will happen when they finally launch it. Will it be embraced by the audience or Windows will just stomp over it ?
I guess we'll have to see.
